The body has many things going on in it at all times whether its good or bad . The body has more things happening in it in 5 seconds then the world has going on in it in 10 seconds. The nervous system is a large part of the body it is the part that controls what you do and how you do it. Some examples it helps you walk, breathing and it helps you think. A lot of things that you do happens with your nervous system first. You may think it has nothing to do with how your body works but without your nervous system you couldn't even write on a piece of paper or even type. If you do sports it would be hard to run jump hop kick or shoot without your nervous system. The nervous system has 3 major parts in your body and those are your brain, spinal cord and all of the nerves in your body. The nervous system got its name because it is made up of billion of nerve cells. 100 billion of your nerves are found in your brain the brain is the control center of your nervous system. A normal sized brain weight is about 3 pounds one of the important parts of your brain is called the cerebrum it controls how your think walk and talk. Of course humans have a larger cerebrum then other animals on earth. The cerebellum controls how your balance and your coordination. The thalamus carries messages through your brain to your eyes ears skin and other organs in your body. The brain stem controls the way your breathe the way your heart beats and the way you digest. The brain stem also connects the brain to the spinal cord. The spinal cord is where all the messages from the body travels to the brain like if someone steps on your toe the message travels through your spinal cord up to your brain. Messages in your body travel more than 200 miles per hour to get to your brain to tell the rest of your body whats going on. Your nervous system also helps your feel when something is to hot or to cold. Next system is the skeletal system the skeletal system contains 206 bones. Half of your bones are in your hands and your feet. The skeletal system is a very helpful system it helps protect your mod=st important organs. Bones have all shapes and sizes some big and small. Some of the most major bones in the body are your skull, clavicle, sternum, spine, ribs, radius, illium, femur, fibula, and the tibia. The skeleton is the most flexible system and your skeleton allows you to move. The cardiovascular system is a very important system without this you would not be living. The heart is one of the main organs in the cardiovascular system it pumps blood throughout your body to your ateries and veins. Blood that is pumped from your heart carries protein that you need to survive. The heart has four chambers they are the right and left atrium and the right and left ventricle. the atrium on both sides of the heart receive all blood first then it sends it down to the two ventricles to be pumped out. The right side of your heart receives oxygen poor blood and pumps it into the lungs to get rid of carbon dioxide. the left side of the heart receives oxygen rich blood from the lungs and pumps it back into the body. Their are 4 valves the heart depend on to move the blood in the right direction those valves are the pulmonary valve, aortic valve, mitral valve and the tricuspid valve. The digestive system helps your get your food get broken down and correctly placed when your eating. The digestive system helps break down foods and turn them into energy. The digestive system includes the mouth, esophagus, liver, large stomach, gall bladder, large intestine, small intestine, pancreas, and rectum.

Respiratory System The respiratory system is basically how the air travels through your body and what pipes bring what air where. There are five pipes that the air flow through in your body they are the mouth, nose, larynx, trachea, and a tube called the bronchial tube. Air of course enters your body through your mouth and your nose and when you inhale your air it wets and warms the air. Air also travels through your windpipe and to your voice box this gives your enough air in your voice so that you can talk. There is a thin slice of skin called the epiglottis this stops food from getting into your windpipe and getting into your lungs. In your nose and mouth there are thin little hairs that are called ciliia that is covered with mucus. These hairs catch particles that get inside your nose and mouth and then they are either coughed out sneezed out or swallowed. Lungs deliver air throughout your body it also removes all carbon from your body. The left side of your lung is a little smaller then the right side of your lung to make room for your heart.

Your tendons helps hold your ones together and also helps them rotate. Babies have more bones then adults its just when you grown up your bones join together and make bigger bones. Bones have there own blood vessels and nerves. Your bones require that you have calcium to make them healthy and strong and not make them get dried out and weak.
Muscular System The human body have 650 muscles. The muscles attach to the bones so that it gives enough muscle so that your body can move around. The muscular system have 3 types of tissues they are the smooth, cardiac and the skeletal. The cardiac muscles is basically the heart itself it is also a muscle. The skeletal muscles make up 40% of an adults body weight. Most of your internal organs is made up of smooth muscles. The are found in the urinary bladder, gall bladder, ateries, and veins. The digestive system also have some smooth muscular parts in it. The smooth muscles are controlled by the nervous system and hormones. We cannot control our smooth muscles thats why they call sometimes say that they are involuntary muscles.
